Introducing Secret™ RF, a radiofrequency microneedling device that inserts 64 tiny needles at a time into varying depths of the skin. Energy is then released from the tips of the needles to simulate a more aggressive wound and promote healing.

What is Secret™ RF?

Secret™ RF uses 64 tiny, precisely spaced needles to deliver energy into deeper layers of the skin, simulating skin damage. The body responds by producing collagen and elastin in the area of the treatment, smoothing blemishes and adding elasticity to the skin.

Am I a candidate for Secret™ RF?

Can Secret™ RF be used on all skin types?

Yes, Secret™ RF is appropriate for all skin types.

How many treatments will be needed?

Patients require four treatments, four weeks apart, to achieve a 40-50% improvement in skin texture or scarring. This is similar to the results we see with our Pearl Fractional skin resurfacing laser, but without the downtime.

How long does a treatment take?

Each of the four treatments takes about 30-60 minutes, depending on the areas you want treated.

What will the treatment feel like?

We use a numbing agent on the skin before treatment so you should only feel slight pricks and slight pressure from the device. Patients often report pain to be 2-3 on a scale of 1-10. We now offer our patients the option of using Pro-Nox™ in order to improve their experience and increase their comfort.

Can I return to normal activities after my treatment?

After the treatment, an ointment will be applied to your skin and you will be asked to refrain from washing your face, or from wearing makeup or sunscreen for approximately 4 hours.

Is there any downtime after the treatment or side effects?

There may be some redness and swelling, which usually resolve between 12 – 36 hours.

When will I see results?

You will start to see results 1-2 days after each treatment, with a gradual improvement over the next couple of weeks.
