Dr. Ersilia Anghel is a board-eligible plastic surgeon with outstanding training and experience in plastic surgery and an emphasis in facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Anghel was born in Romania, grew up in Toronto, Canada and later moved to Tucson, Arizona. She attended the University of Arizona for her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Art History and soon after earned her Medical Degree at The University of Arizona College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Throughout her medical training, Dr. Anghel has distinguished herself by working closely with top facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons. She obtained additional training in facial plastic surgery during and after her residency.
With many years of dedicated research at University of Manchester in England, University of Washington, and Stanford University, Dr. Anghel is well-published in the science of wound healing and plastic surgery. Dr. Anghel also completed a year-long Wound Healing and Limb Reconstruction Research Fellowship at Georgetown University.
Dr. Anghel is a highly skilled surgeon who strives to treat her patients with kindness and holistic support throughout their surgical transformations. She prides herself on her transparency with patients and providing them with education and guidance. Her goal is for her patients to feel more like themselves after their surgical journey.
Dr. Anghel loves spending time with her partner and young daughter. She values time with her friends, loves hiking in Forest Park, and seeks immersion in cultural experiences and travel.
